The City of Malmö has invited INTA to participate in a seminar on The Western Harbour a Model for Sustainable Urbanism?: An international Perspective
Twenty five years after organizing an international peer-to-peer panel on the Evaluation of Development Potential for the Harbour of Malmö, INTA was invited by Christer Larsson, Director of City Planning, to attend an international roundtable, on Monday, December 12, to bring some inputs from its members.
Michel Sudarskis accompanied by Roy Adams, François Noisette and Larry Barth, all active INTA members and a British team led by John Worthington, have, after a half-day visit and a half-day of internal discussions, brought their points of view at a public roundtable.
This very "punchy" activity is more subjective than the 3-day roundtables and less participative than the panels usually organized by INTA.
Based on the experience and proven practitioners and academics facing the local stakeholders, this seminar gave interesting perspectives in a very reduced time.
The content of the exchange will enrich the work of the Communitiy of Competence on Workspace Urbanism
